The Commodore Sloat Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized on September 29, 1922, in the city of Pacific Grove, California. Originally named the Pacific Grove Chapter, NSDAR, it was renamed the Commodore Sloat Chapter, NSDAR on September 19, 1934. The chapter location was changed from Pacific Grove to Monterey on June 27, 2011.


Several members of the Commodore Sloat Chapter, NSDAR, attended the California State Society DAR (CSSDAR) State Conference.
